  • Present Simple (Hábitos)

Sujeto➕ Verbo " do/does"

E.g:

✅He eats / They learn

❌ He does not eat / They do not learn

❔ Does he eat? / Do they learn?


  • Present Continuos / Progressive (algo no ha terminado o está incompleto)

Sujeto➕ to be➕ verb(ing)

E.g:

She is playing/ You are going

❌She isn't playing / You aren't going

❔ Is she going? / Are you gonig?


  • Past Simple (acciones completadas en el pasado)


Sujeto➕ verb(ed)

Sujeto➕ was/were➕verb "did"

E.g:

She was a doctor / He stayed at home

❌ She wasn't a doctor / I didn't want to dance

❔ Was she a doctor? / Did they learn English?


  • Past Continuos / Progressive (acción en el pasado y que aún no concluye)


Sujeto➕ was/were ➕ verb(ing)

E.g:

She was reading / They were watching

❌She wasn't reading / They weren't watching

❔ Was she reading? / Were they watching?


  • Present Perfect (acción en el pasado que continúa en el presente)


Sujeto ➕ have/has➕ verb past participle

E.g:

He has visited / You have walked

❌He hasn´t visited / You haven't walked

❔ Has he visited? / Have you walked?


  • Present Perfect Continuous (acción que ha comenzado en el pasado y sigue corriendo en el presente)

Sujeto ➕ have/has been ➕ verb(ing)

E.g:

I have been speaking / He has been playing

❌I haven't been speaking / He has not been playing

❔ Have I been speaking / Has he been playing?


  • Past Perfect (señala que un evento que ocurrió antes de otro)

Sujeto ➕ had ➕ verb past participle

E.g:

✅She had given / They had arrived

❌She hadn't given / They hadn't arrived

❔ Had she given? / Had they arrived?


  • Past Perfect Continuous (tiempo anterior al pasado reciente)

Sujeto ➕ had been ➕ verb(ing)

E.g:

I had been walking / he had been trying

❌I hadn't been walking / he hadn't been trying

❔ Had you been eating? / Had he been trying?

  • Future Simple ( se refiere a un tiempo posterior al actual y expresa hechos o certezas, evento en el futuro pero no es seguro )

Sujeto ➕ will/shall ➕ verb infinitive

E.g:

I will go / I shall go

❌They will not see / I won´t go

❔ Will she ask? / Won't they try?


  • Future Perfect (acción que se completará en el pasado)

Sujeto will have verb past participle

E.g:

✅He will have finished / You will have eaten

❌He will not have finished / You won't have eaten

❔ Will he have finished? / Will you have eaten?


  • Future Idiomatic "be going to" (acciones que se llevarán a cabo en el futuro, planes que decidiste en el pasado)

Sujeto➕ going to➕ verb infinitive

E.g:

✅ He is going to swim

❌You aren't going to work

❔ Is he going to drink?
